Because I can't pause my phone ringing - can I pause live TV?
The feature that enables you to pause your phone ringing has not been invented yet - so you will have to settle for pausing live TV. Simply hit the pause button and your program will wait patiently while you focus on the phone call.

How many programs can I record at the same time?
You can record two programs at the same time while watching a third, previously recorded program. That's three things at once - this machine is quite the multi-tasker!

I've got kids - can they delete my recordings?
You need to turn on TiVo KidZone - this is where the kids watch what you want them to and have their own pile of programs waiting for them to enjoy away from your recordings.

How many hours of programs can I record?
Basically, this depends on which format you are recording in - i.e. Standard Definition or High Definition format. You can record up to 120 hours of Standard Definition or 60 hours of High Definition on your TiVo® 320GB device. Does TiVo provide closed captions
Yes, closed captions are accessible whenever they are provided in a free-to-air Television broadcast. In fact - even if you do not have closed captions activated your recordings have them stored in the memory so you can turn on closed captions for content recorded on your hard drive.
