How does CASPA™ On-Demand work?

You can access the CASPA On-Demand service from TiVo Central at any time. Navigating with your TiVo remote, you can browse a library of downloadable content – from movies to entire season-runs of your favourite shows, to concerts and more!

How much does CASPA On-Demand cost?

There's a wide range of content on the CASPA On-Demand service. There's heaps of free content to choose from, some content is supported by advertising, and some programmes and movies are pay-per-view. Pricing varies and will be displayed on screen as you browse through our CASPA On-Demand catalogue of titles. Data charges may also apply and are your responsibility, for those of you on a compatible plan with one of our unmetered ISP partners such as vividwireless, Apex Internet, iiNet, Internode, iPrimus or Adam Internet, downloads via CASPA On-Demand have zero impact on your monthly data allowance.

If I purchase a TiVo today, how long before I can start using CASPA On-Demand?

24 hours* after you have activated and completed the Guided Setup, your TiVo media device will automatically update your On-Screen Guide and give you access to the CASPA On-Demand service. You will not be able to access CASPA On-Demand until this update is complete so do not attempt to use the service during the first 24 hours.

* Please note that if you’re a existing TiVo owner you can start using CASPA On-Demand service at any time without the need to wait for 24 hours.

How can I access pay-per-view content on CASPA On-Demand?

At the same time you activate your TiVo media device, if you are over the age of fifteen you can create a CASPA Wallet with a valid credit or debit card. You'll set a unique PIN, so only you can use your CASPA Wallet to download  pay-per-view content!

Will CASPA On-Demand expose my kids to inappropriate content?

CASPA On-Demand is compatible with TiVo KidZone, so you can lock out programmes over a certain classification. CASPA On-Demand content automatically adheres to any existing TiVo® KidZone setting on your TiVo media device.

Will CASPA On-Demand use up my download data allowance?

Please consult your Internet Service Provider for details on your specific monthly download quota. All content available on CASPA On-Demand lists the download size so you can keep an eye on how much you download and be careful not to exceed your monthly cap. For those of you on a compatible plan with one of our unmetered ISP partners such as vividwireless, Apex Internet, iiNet, Internode, iPrimus or Adam Internet, downloads via CASPA On-Demand have zero impact on your monthly data allowance.

How long will I have to wait before I can view my CASPA On-Demand content?

After a short buffering period, you will be able to start watching your content even while it's still downloading.

Which ISPs support the CASPA On-Demand service?

CASPA On-Demand can be accessed with any broadband internet plan, however only customers on compatible plans with our unmetered ISP partners will enjoy the luxury of unlimited CASPA downloads to their TiVo media device with no effect on their monthly broadband cap.
